    ALIA is excited to partner with the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing to support an IDPwD Storytime Takeover in public and school libraries around Australia throughout November 2026.

  • Participation fee

    It’s important for people with disability to be part of conversations about disability and also be paid for their time, effort and expertise. We know that there may be a cost barrier for libraries to engage someone with lived experience of disability to lead an IDPwD Storytime Takeover. To help cover facilitator costs, 40 libraries can receive a $500 participation fee.

    Please note, only ALIA Institutional Member organisations are eligible to apply for the participation fee. Check if your library service is a current member.
